The room was very small and hard for 2 people to move around in. The air conditioner did not work which meant leaving the window open as it was a hot weekend. Being in the city the noise outside kept us awake. Because we had booked on Booking dot com we could not cancel our next booked few days and we could not get a discount. We did manage to change the room on the last night and get a twin bed for the night. This room was better than our double and the air conditioner worked.
I didn't like the fact that when I booked, The photos you showed online were nothing like what I got. I will never stay there again or recommend this to anyone, I will stay at another City Edge Location as I saw their rooms, these were exactly like the rooms displayed online..
Location, cleanliness and value for money.
Lack of privacy in room - all windows need to have pull down blinds. No hanging space for clothes. Perhaps a freestanding hanger would be helpful.
Good location for our needs
Ran out of hot water after 1.5 (not long) showers. A privacy issue as blinds don't cover the windows. No hair dryer Don't recommend the lower ground floor units, upper floor units were better on previous visits
Location was perfect for our needs, Price was good.
The room was a bit small.
location very good. short distance to tram service, markets, dinning.
twin room very small,no hanging space.
Nice fully furnished room with self. Contained facilities.
Front reception lady not welcoming and overall fairly rude. Front reception tired without permission to debit by account a deposition deposite $150 without contacting me or gaining permission. Further this $150 would take 5-7 working days to clear back into my account
Jasmin the receptionist is exceedingly helpful and efficient. No hassle checking in or out. It is a good hotel for folks who like to have their morning coffee at Victoria Market
Nothing to complain . Value for money.
The price was good, and the ads on the internet were well done too, very deceiving. The call centre staff member when I checked in late was excellent, she helped us and even drove to the property and go out of her way to make us more comfortable.
The rooms were way to small even to stay one or two nights with two people. Just felt cramped, pillows were old no pillow protectors, mattress felt old and sunk in. Would not stay here again even if it was the cheapest.
Proximity to Hospital and University and transport Comfortable
Couldnt find a remote for air conditioning/heater Dirty carpet in hallway
The location was excellent. staff were friendly and helpful.
while our unit was very comfortable the dacor'e was somewhat tired and marked. having said this i would still be happy to stay here again.
I checked out gave the keys to receptionist who wished us a nice day.some 90 mins later I get a call from hotel "what time u ckeck out?" Try to explain already gone oh sorry!! No parking a real hassle, not worth the money
Location was ideal -- close to the city. The size of the room was perfect for a solo traveller, and the facilities in the room were adequate and easy to use.
I drove to Melbourne so the lack of parking was a problem.
If you aren't planning on spending much time in the hotel room, then this is a great place to stay. It is small, but perfect for storing your stuff, showering and sleeping. Perhaps even light cooking or takeway. Very close to the Woman's and children's hospitals and the Queen Vic markets. It is also on a tram line and walking distance to a train station. Great location!!
Again, a very small room. Not great for a big family or more than two people.(however, I managed with a 5 year old and a baby) We really only slept there and explored the city during the day.
the room we had there was a sliding wall between the beds in our room we were a married couple or the other room we had had two single beds with an on suite between them You need to cover all the windows so that the sun dosn't come in our room had a blind that only covered half the window so at 6 am the light was coming in. not good if your on holidays.
